Who is the author?
What is the true meaning of the title?
What qualifications are necessary to write the continuation of the Bible?
Is Martinus a false profet?

- Indeed very importaint questions!

On the 24th November 1981 the publishing house of Borgens in Copenhagen brought out a book with the provocative title, The Third Testament. Earlier the same year, on the 8th March the author, Martinus, passed away having spent the previous sixty years writing.

In his last years Martinus was working on an introductory book. Its purpose was to explain the idea behind the title and the two symbols on the cover of his books and to also give the reader an overall view of the contents. This task was never completed. Not long after the author passed away, the collected works were published with their new title and new covers, but with no introduction to either the work, the title or the symbols on the cover.

Only after Martinus had passed away was the correct title of his life’s work officially revealed as The Third Testament!. With this title he made it absolutely clear that everything he had written was a direct continuation of Christ’s mission, following in the biblical tradition that is so closely bound up with the history of the western world. Martinus made a point of camouflaging the real identity of his work during his lifetime. He wanted interest to be directed towards his books, The Eternal World Picture and the cosmic analyses, not towards him as a person.

The reason why this home page have been created is because the explanation of Martinus’ work and the symbols on the cover were not ready at the time of the publication in 1981. The change of title in fact gave rise to a series of unanswered questions: what is the purpose of the Third Testament? What lies behind the title? Who is the author? What qualifications are needed in order to write the continuation of the Bible? Is Martinus a false prophet? The list of questions can go on and on.

It is of course extremely provocative to claim that someone has written a work that is a direct continuation of Christ’s mission. But it should be fairly easy to tell whether the Third Testament presents us with a false prophet or a moral genius. If it presents us with a true prophet, the author would have to be a moral genius on the same high level as Christ. If he was not, he would be a false prophet and could easily be revealed as such and disclaimed. The answer to the question of the extent to which we are faced with a true or a false prophet is to be found in the literature presented on this home page.
